QUESTION: Are Atheists willing to flirt with the idea of God existing?

Question
Are you Atheists willing to flirt with the idea that The Almighty does exist ?
Quote:

I was just wondering. I mean millions upon people in this
world can't be wrong. For no reason. How can a mass
number of human beings believe in a deity, they have
never seen you ask ? Through internal spirituality. Having
a change of heart, mind, soul. A deep resolve and
commitment. With Revelations, divine intervention. While
realizing that you are moving in the Spirit. And not in the
flesh, or by any other logical action or intent. Only a purpose.
Many do question your superficial state of mind. Because that
is what it is. Without reason. And for every action there is
a reaction. Nothing cannot create something. So are you
willing to flirt with the idea that The Almighty does exist ?
Best answer wins. ~~~ =)

Your Answer:
Great question!

First, understand that the reason millions and millions of people believe in religion (and thus believe in a god) is because religion WAS SCIENCE to our ancestors. They had no way to explain the unexplainable, so they did the best they could and came up with religion. Well, religions to be exact.

But, to answer your question: Yes, I am completely willing to accept the idea of a god. I think to say that there is NO chance of there being a god is the same as saying there is no chance there ISN'T a god. So far our level of scientific advancement doesn't lend itself to a god-created universe, but we are honestly infants when it comes to really understanding the universe. Once science and belief in god learn to work hand-in-hand, instead of at cross purposes (like now) we will have more answers.

Now my question is: Would you be willing to accept that there was no god if we reached a point where it was absolutely provable that the universe was not created by a higher being?
